NAMI EASTSIDE |
A Letter from the President of NAMI Eastside Dear Friend of NAMI Eastside, This is a time of great hope and potential opportunity for recovery for individuals living with a serious mental illness. Paradoxically, this is also a time when federal, state, county and city governments are announcing budget cuts and reduced access to mental health services for the most severely disabled adults, adolescents and children in our communities. NAMI Eastside is working in this challenging environment to fulfill its Mission of providing support, education, and advocacy to families and individuals affected by mental illness. A summary of NAMI Eastside programs, services, and 2004 accomplishments is provided here. Despite the progress made in 2004, much needs to be done in the years ahead to improve the quality of life of persons affected with serious mental illness living on the Eastside. The programs and services provided by NAMI Eastside are made possible through your membership dues, donations, grants, and the dedicated efforts of volunteers. Would you please consider helping NAMI Eastside
continue its Mission? Here are some ways you can help Note: NAMI Eastside is a registered 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization and all dues and donations are tax deductible. Thanking you in advance for your generosity; and wishing you warm Holiday Greetings and a healthy and peaceful New Year.
